Tao Ji and Wei Guo, from Musculoskeletal Tumor Center, Beijing Key Laboratory for Musculoskeletal Tumors, People’s Hospital, Peking University, Beijing, China; Dr. Eric R. Henderson, from Dartmouth Orthopaedic Surgery, Sarcoma & Connective Tissue Oncology Program, Norris Cotton Cancer Center, Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH, USA; and Dr. Paul C. Jutte, from Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Groningen, University Medical Center, Groningen, The Netherlands.

The rationale for this issue of Annals of Joint was to present in-depth approaches to specific surgical problems in bone tumor surgery from our field’s international lead-ers in order to disseminate their expertise and latest insights.
