abstract = {Patients with greater trochanteric pain syndrome (GTPS) include a group of disorders affecting the peritrochanteric space, including trochanteric bursitis, coxa saltans, and gluteus tendon injuries. While many patients improve with non-operative management, those with persistent symptoms may require further evaluation and consideration for operative intervention. Comprehensive understanding of the peri-trochanteric space anatomy, physical exam findings, radiographic evaluation, and surgical techniques are critical for operative management of this pathology. The following paper aims to review these aspects and present the clinical outcomes of each treatment.},
