abstract = {High tibial osteotomy (HTO) is a common and widely accepted procedure in orthopaedic surgery. Although the improvements of partial and total knee arthroplasty (TKA), HTO remains a good option in some patients. Everybody agree in saying that in this surgery, in order to obtain satisfactory results, it is mandatory to have an appropriate patient selection and precise surgical planning. In this chapter we describe the advantage and the disadvantage of this procedure and the results compared to other techniques.},
